The town of Fiumalbo is rich in history and ancient traditions whose origins are lost in the mists of time. Every year in the historical center of the town are held some events eagerly awaited by local people, who also loves to actively participate in the preparations. During the carnival you can sea a beautiful torchlight procession starting from the Seminary of Ca ‘Monia that ends in the city center where it’s started a great bonfire. On the occasion of Corpus Christi, the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament decorates the streets with carpets of flowers typical of the area. In August, however, for the celebrations in honor of the Patron Saint Bartholomew, the entire village and the river are full of candles. On Christmas in Fiumalbo is a tradition to set up a live nativity scene with hundreds of people and animals, including a baby born in the year that interprets baby Jesus.
